Teaching, prayer, and support. A daily verse in plain words, a place to ask for help, and a place to give it.
The debt is settled. You’re free. Now — mercy.
FREE TO ASK. FREE TO HELP. ALWAYS.
Every morning: one verse from the New Testament, read aloud by James, with a short reflection in plain words. No jargon, no guilt, no fear. The teaching that the God of Jesus is good — only good.
A board of real needs — prayer, food, a ride, a job lead — and real answers. Not comments. Actions: I prayed. I’ve been here. I can help.
“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
ROMANS 8:1 · TODAY’S READINGPrayer, food & supplies, labor & rides, job leads. Asking is free, every category, always.
A member taps “I can help.” No threads, no debate — just a person deciding to show up.
Help is exchanged at a public, staffed church — never a stranger’s door. When it’s done, you write the thank-you note everyone gets to read.
No home addresses, ever. No money moves through the app, ever. The church is the meeting place and the safe spot — a real building with people in it, the way help has always worked.
The culture of this community is the character of Jesus, in the order he lived it: the hurting first, the outsider second, yourself last.
When someone is hurting, you stop and help — even when it’s not your job, and even when they can’t pay you back.
LUKE 10:30–37You let someone else’s pain reach you, and you move toward it instead of away.
MATTHEW 14:14You give food, money, time, or a ride — quietly, without keeping score.
MATTHEW 6:3 · LUKE 6:38You show up. You visit the sick, the lonely, and the locked-up, because being there is the help.
MATTHEW 25:35–36You make room at your table for the person everyone else avoids.
LUKE 19:1–10When two people are fighting, you help them stop — you don’t pick a side and make it worse.
MATTHEW 5:9You do the low job without being asked, and you don’t need anyone to see you do it.
JOHN 13:4–15You are kind to the person who was unkind to you. You pray for them instead of paying them back.
MATTHEW 5:44 · LUKE 23:34When someone says sorry — and even when they don’t — you let it go. You don’t carry the grudge home.
MATTHEW 18:21–22You say what’s true in plain words, even to powerful people — and you never use the truth to crush someone who’s already down.
MATTHEW 5:37 · JOHN 8:11Some of these have no events, because you don’t schedule them. You live them.
Everything that matters is free: the daily verse, the doctrine teachings, asking for help, giving it. That will never change.
